The LAEinc. Creations Forums of Randomness Code of Conduct


I. Respect fellow forum users

The LAEinc. Creations Forums of Randomness are not to be used to transmit unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, or racially ethically or other content determined by site admins to be as such. This material includes content a user may find embarrassing or may cause distress, unwanted attention or discomfort. Vulgar and abusive language, even masked by symbolic characters, in login names and screen names will not be tolerated.

Impersonation of any user and/or admin will NOT be tolerated. Spamming, likewise, will NOT be tolerated. Spam includes sending identical and irrelevant or unsolicited submissions to many different users and reposting the same content multiple times or in multiple section/subsections where they do not belong.

II. Respect the law

The LAEinc. Creations Forums of Randomness does not permit content or behavior related to illegal activities, nor does it support them. If you violate the law you will be responsible for the consequences. By using these forums you agree not to publish, post, distribute, or disseminate defamatory, infringing, obscene, or other unlawful material or discussions. This includes but is not limited to, pornography, incest, bestiality, illegal drugs, software and other forms of piracy, racketeering, money laundering, blackmail, murder, prostitution, slavery, fraud, cannibalism, theft, vigilantism, plagiarism, and harassment of any kind.

Also do not post or promote any materials that contain destructive content such as viruses, worms, trojan horses or other content that could harm and/or disrupt another user's computer or allow others to inappropriately access software or web sites.

III. Advertising and Pictures

The LAEinc. Creations Forums of Randomness allows the use of Avatars. Avatars in use must be 100X100 in size. If an image is uploaded that is larger than 100X100 it will be automatically sized down to fit. This may result in a lower quality image. Any Avatars containing graphic material are not allowed. Avatars with such images will be removed and a PM will be sent as a notification.

Signatures in the Forums must be 1000 characters or less. Signatures that contain a graphic image will also be removed and a notification in the form of a PM will be sent.

Thread Posted Pictures must be small enough to fit the viewers screen and not massively huge in file size. Again any offensive or graphic material will be removed and a PM will be sent as a notification of your violation.

Advertising on the LAEinc. Creations Forums of Randomness is prohibited to an extent. If you are just showing off a site you made, or something you found on ebay, ect, that is alright. Advertising in spamming ways however is not. Advertising in your signature, avatar, or profile however, is Acceptable for most ways.
Now this rule does not apply in Official boards, created for Advertising (must be requested)

IV.Use Caution

The LAEinc. Creations Forums of Randomness would like to caution you against releasing any personal information. This includes but is not limited to name, location, social security number, credit info, address, telephone number, etc. You and you alone are responsible for protecting your computer against interference and viruses that may be encountered on the internet.

V.Ban Info and More

Ban Info and consequences for Members include but are not limited to:
    
     •Reminder - The Problem will be fixed and you will be Notified via PM.
     •First Time - Your Account will be Warned Followed by a PM.
     •Second Time - Your Account will be Monitored. (posts must first be approved by a mod)
     •Third Time - Your Account will be Muted. (no more posting for a while)
     •2ed to Last time - Your Account will be placed on a limited Ban
     •Final Time - You will be Permanently Banned from the Forums

If you receive any of the first 4 warnings listed above, they will be lifted within a week or less if your actions have calmed down.

Exceptions: There is a probation period for all new members(members with 3-5 posts). If you break the LAEinc. Creations Forums of Randomness code of conduct during this period you will automatically be Muted (unable to post for 7 days).


Ban Info and consequences for Guests include but are not limited to:
     
     •Slip- I will fix the problem, and give the guest another chance.
     •Second Time- 3 day Ban on Guests IP.
     •Last Time- Guest will be Permanently Banned from the Forums.

If the Guest appears to be a spam bot, an automatic Perm Ban will be placed on the Posts IP.

Posts: All posts are counted in this forum.


Additional Information:

-You must have 100 Posts to give/take Karma
-You cannot Double post for 24 hours from the first post
-Ranks will change every 100 posts
-You may have only ONE account on this forum. If you are caught with more than one account, the new account will be Banned, and your existing account will be Notified via PM.

In addition to upholding this code of conduct, you are responsible for adhering to all applicable local and national laws. Forum Admins/Mods reserve the right to remove or ban any user/group for violations of this code of conduct. The LAEinc. Creations Forums of Randomness are not to be held responsible for the content placed upon its forums.





Over all Basics you need to Focus on.

1. No Spamming or Graphic Material
2. Play Nice / Respect Others
3. Don't Argue with anyone on the boards. Especially Mods or Admins.
4. Keep swearing limited. Words I believe should not be said will be Censored anyways.

As long as you follow those rules above, you should be fine!

These Rules may not be 100% up to date, and for the most part, aren't as strict as they sound.
